Who, me?

I am Matthew Suber (MaSu), a natural problem solver with a BFA from Georgia State University in Graphic Design, and a long history of work in sound design and production. Design has always been a part of my life from establishing workflow, building teams, to creating visuals, experiences, and environments. I live on the internet, and I work for CNN.com in Atlanta, Ga.

The Skinny

I have 9 years of hands-on experience in web-based projects, 5 years in sound design, 3 years of experience in a corporate environment, and in 2006 I co-founded a music-publishing group that has allowed me to work with teams that touch on all aspects of design. Professionally, I focus on design for mobile and I creatively approach problem solving through the lens of usability. Furthermore, I frequently collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams from UI/UX projects, print, and sound.

I have interests in touch screen devices, communication, the color yellow, journalism, design for mobile, soccer, urban development, samba, the news, interaction design, data visualization, music production, cartoons, fine art, "happy accidents," mangos, green tea, and people.
